I'm always drawn to games during which the players end up creating a shared artifact, and this is a really nice one. The options for how the map can change are very evocative.
Good, typographically sound "write your own story" — in this case, map — game. I found it cosier than other similar games in the jam because it is lighter and lets you draw instead of write.

Thanks! I love playing stuff like that too - do you have any recommendations?
One of my favourites is Emily Short's San Tilapian Studies, which isn't available anywhere that I know of, although she writes about it in enough detail here that it could probably be recreated: https://emshort.blog/2012/08/30/san-tilapian-studies-a-casual-narrative-entertai.... I also really like The Quiet Year, which your game actually reminded me of a bit! https://buriedwithoutceremony.com/the-quiet-year.
I love the Quiet Year - and San Tilapian Studies sounds So Cool! Thanks for the recs
